MEET THE TEAM
Our local staff and team of volunteers are excited to work for our hometown. Our goal is to work side by side with the city and the residents to bring new events, projects and a renewed interest in the economic vitality of Saltillo.
Stephanie Box joined the Saltillo Main Street Association in January of 2022 as the new Director. Box is a Saltillo High School graduate, who has invested her time into our local youth by teaching at Saltillo for the last 23 years, as well as holding other roles within the school. Stephanie is very excited to begin her role as director. She said, “I have loved Saltillo for as long as I can remember. With our current Saltillo City Officials, Saltillo Main Street Advisory Board & volunteers, and Saltillo business owners the possibilities are endless as to what we can accomplish. I cannot wait to be a part of seeing this town grow and flourish for years to come.”
To grow up in a place like Saltillo is an awesome thing. Having the opportunity to serve your hometown is an opportunity Erica welcomed with open arms. Not only is she a member of the Saltillo Main Street Association, she also serves our town with the Saltillo Junior Women's Club ( past President) and is currently the President of the Saltillo Primary PTO. Erica is excited about working alongside the SMSA Board members to cultivate community and promote business growth in our community. Erica and her husband Brian have two children, Emma and Andrew.
Deanna married Bubba Knight (SHS Class of 1982) and moved to Saltillo in 1989. Since then, she has served in various clubs, civic organizations, community and church boards. As a local business owner for many years, she understands and looks at things from the side of the business owner as well as a resident. "I am excited about the possibility of bringing new and exciting things to our town. Our children and grandchildren deserve a brighter and more prosperous hometown."
Dinky has been a resident of Saltillo for 60 of his 66 years. Dinky and his wife of 48 years, Miranda (Randy), have three sons who grew up in and live in the Saltillo area. Dinky wants to see Saltillo remain a community where our children and their children are proud to call this their home for life.
Dana and her husband Tony moved to Saltillo in 1999 before their daughter Emily started school. Emily (SHS Class of 2013) and her brother Jackson (SHS Class of 2019) both graduated from Saltillo High School. Throughout those school years, Dana was active in the different PTOs and served as an officer at the Primary, Elementary, and Middle Schools. Dana said "Saltillo has been a great place for our family." Dana is a shareholder at JE Vance & Company where she has worked for 29 years. As almost empty nesters, Dana is excited about finding new ways to help out in the community through the SMSA.
A lifelong resident of Saltillo, April jumped at the chance to work in her hometown as Broker Manager of Mississippi Insurance Brokers. She is excited to work with other Saltillo businesses to move the community forward. April and her husband have two children.
Born and raised in Laurel, MS, Lisa is married to her high school sweetheart, Ron. They moved their family of 6 to Saltillo in 2006 after Ron accepted a State Farm agency here. She is a lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary, and has also served Saltillo with the Junior Women's Club. She works part time at her husband's agency and enjoys traveling, SEC football (*MSU) and volunteering at First Baptist Church Saltillo. Lisa said, "I could not think of a better place to rasie our family and I am excited to be be able to work with a team of dedicated, like-minded people that share my passion for promoting and growing Saltillo."
Melonie and her husband John moved to Saltillo in 1989. They have two daughters who both attended the Saltillo schools. Melonie has seeved on the boards and special committees of various clubs and nonprofit groups. She is excited to share her experience with the Saltillo Main Street Board and is looking forward to serving the businesses in Saltillo. Melonie also currently serves as President of TWIGS and President Elect of Tupelo Kiwanis
Deundre most recently served Saltillo Main Street as the Executive Director. He has been a Saltillo resident for 4 years. Deundre has created several successful programs geared toward Saltillo and our area youth. His commitment to make Saltillo safe and full of opportunities for our youth, businesses and citizens is the reason Deundre is a a valued member of the team.

Johnette moved to Saltillo after purchasing Skybox Sports Grill-Pizzeria in 2013. With a personal motto of "blessed so that I can be blessing others," she has worked hard to build her local restaurant so that she can give back to the town she now calls home. One of our veteran members, Johnette joined Main Street in 2017 with the intention to help this great group of people bring fun events, community development and business promotions to Saltillo.

Case joined Saltillo Main Street Association with the goal of revitalizing and bringing new ideas to the association. Graduating from Saltillo High School in 2013, Case has deep family ties in the Saltillo Community. After moving away and spending the last several years working in Washington D.C.,Case is excited to be home volunteering and working in his hometown. He and his beautiful wife Ashley are home to stay.
